PRAISE THE QUEEN, Video-performance, 2014

Is it funny to throw stuff at people? I am sitting on a table, the participants have materials at their disposal such as glitter, lights, eggs, yoghurt, synthetic hair and colours. They have absolute freedom in means of intervening and reforming me. The duration is enough to shift my mood, moving me mentally from the epicentre (looking like a christmas tree/ bride) to a state of victimisation (as if I am being bullied). The action came to an ending when I no longer had the capacity to breathe, after my face had been stuffed with various materials.
Still standing object, ready to be used and transformed depending on the perpetrators mood. To either be ornamented or vandalism and trespassed. The thin line that divides those two states. The limits, the hesitation or in the contrary the loss of consciousness.
